Milton Hershey School is seeking a married couple to join our team as House Parents. As a House Parent, you will provide a nurturing and family-like environment for 8-12 students in one of our on-campus homes. This unique role requires a married couple to work together, ensuring a stable and supportive atmosphere while managing various responsibilities related to student care.
This position offers a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, with a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple, including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. We are looking for couples who have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. We abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and there are limitations on pets. Valid driver's licenses and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
