Milton Hershey School is seeking couples to provide a nurturing family-like environment for students in our student homes. As Family Care Providers, you will guide the development of your assigned group of 8-12 students, handling daily responsibilities and creating a consistent family structure. Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and support to students
- Manage student home responsibilities, including driving and administering medication
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the well-being of students
As a member of our team, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including salary, housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. You will also receive relocation assistance and paid training. Our schedule offers nine days on followed by three days off, with workdays including personal time while students are at school.
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from underserved settings
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older and have been legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
