Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples to become houseparents. As a flex houseparent, you will reside in an on-campus student home and guide a group of approximately 8-12 students. This unique role requires commitment to the educational and emotional growth of the students.
About the Role
Flex houseparents provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. When initially hired, flex houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
This is a two-person job suited for legally married couples who have been together for at least two years.
The ideal candidates are experienced in working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings.
Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
Both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
