As a house parent at Milton Hershey School, you will provide a nurturing family-like environment for students. You and your spouse will live on-campus, guiding a group of 8-12 students while managing various responsibilities such as administration and care. Your role is crucial in shaping the lives of these young individuals and helping them achieve their full potential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older. You must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
