At Milton Hershey School, we are seeking dedicated couples to join our team of family caregivers. As a flex houseparent, you will provide a nurturing home environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, guiding and supporting them in their daily lives.
The ideal candidates should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. This is a two-person job that requires both spouses to be age 27 or older and to have been legally married for at least two years.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as relocation assistance and paid training. Our flexible scheduling allows for nine days on followed by three days off, with personal time while students are at school.
Key responsibilities include providing a consistent family-like structure for students, handling various responsibilities such as driving and medication administration, and participating in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
