What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Environment for Students position at Milton Hershey School?
We are seeking a married couple to join our team as House Parents. As House Parents, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Residing in an on-campus student home and providing a consistent family-like structure for students
- Driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and other tasks as needed
- Fostering personal and professional growth in a rewarding educational setting
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- A two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
