What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Home Coordinators position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking a committed and compassionate couple to become Family Home Coordinators. As Family Home Coordinators, you will provide a loving and supportive family-like structure for a group of approximately 8-12 students.
You will reside in an on-campus student home, guiding and nurturing students through daily activities, meals, and recreational times. Your responsibilities will include driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting, all while serving as role models for your students.
This is a unique opportunity for couples to work together, supporting students in need. We are looking for couples who have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a stable and loving living environment for students
- Guide students through daily devotions and Sunday chapel services
- Handle various household responsibilities, such as driving and medication administration
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure students' physical, emotional, and educational needs are met
Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Legally married couples for at least two years, both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
