About the Role
We are seeking married couples to join our team as Houseparents. As a Houseparent, you will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and care to a group of 8-12 students who live with you on campus. Your role will include managing daily activities, administering medication, and leading daily devotions. You will also have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities and help plan special events for the students.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, which translates to a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple. This includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. We also provide comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. In addition, you will enjoy a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, as well as three weeks of paid summer vacation.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must be a married couple who has been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and you should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Additionally, you should have a valid driver's license and be able to become certified to drive student home vans. High school diploma or GED is required, and you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Finally, you must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be willing to abide by our smoke-free and weapon-free campus policies.
