About the Role:
As a Houseparent, you will serve as a nurturing guardian for a group of 8-12 students, providing a family-like environment and guidance in their daily lives. You and your spouse will work together to manage the daily responsibilities of the household, including health and transportation needs, while enjoying competitive benefits and a supportive work-life balance.
This role requires experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. As a couple, you must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily household responsibilities, including health and transportation needs
- Provide guidance and support to students in their daily lives
- Lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
