What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family-Like Care Providers for Students position at Milton Hershey School?
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should both be age 27 or older and have a high school diploma or GED. You should also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. We require that you and your spouse abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and limit your pets to fish and one dog of approved breeds.
We also require that you both have a valid driver's license and are able to become certified to drive student home vans. If you are unable to lift up to 50 pounds, you may not be eligible for this role. Finally, we require that you and your spouse demonstrate a high degree of integrity and are willing to model positive values and behaviors for students.
