Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, providing guidance and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds in a family-like environment.

As Residential Youth Caregivers, you will oversee the wellbeing and education of approximately 8-12 students, ensuring a safe and structured living situation.

We require experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily devotions, taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are required.

Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and be comfortable leading students in a family-like structure.

We offer a salary of $43,825 per person, with a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more.
