Responsibilities
As a House Parent, you and your spouse will be responsible for providing a nurturing family environment for students in a residential setting. This includes guiding approximately 8-12 students, handling various responsibilities including driving and administering medication, and participating in regular training and professional development opportunities. You will also be expected to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the student home, handle household chores, and work closely with other staff members to ensure the well-being and success of our students.
Qualifications
To be successful as a House Parent, you and your spouse must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should have been legally married for at least two years, and both spouses should be age 27 or older. No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and there are limitations on pets. Valid driver's licenses are required, and you must be able to become certified to drive student home vans. You and your spouse must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.

We understand the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. As a House Parent, you will have a schedule that promotes this, with nine days on followed by three days off. Workdays include a period of personal time while students are at school, and you will have three weeks paid summer vacation.
