What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family-Like Structure for Students position at Milton Hershey School?
We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents at Milton Hershey School, where you will guide and nurture a group of approximately 8-12 students living in on-campus homes. As a Houseparent, you will provide a consistent family-like structure for your students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
Key requirements for this role include experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Couples must be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Valid driver's licenses and certification to drive student home vans are also required.
The compensation package includes a salary of $43,825 per person, a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training are also provided.
