Couples Residential Care Providers at Milton Hershey School play a vital role in providing a supportive and nurturing environment for students in our residential program. This position requires a couple to work together as a team to manage student daily life, provide guidance and support, and create a sense of belonging.
The ideal candidate couple will have a strong commitment to the well-being of their students and a willingness to work collaboratively with other staff members. Prior experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage student daily life, including transportation, medication administration, and household chores
- Lead students in daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- Provide guidance and support to students in areas such as academics, personal development, and social skills
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of students
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a married couple with prior experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Have a valid driver's license and be able to become certified to drive student home vans
- Be willing to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
