Schedule and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, with a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple. This includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Relocation assistance and paid training are also provided. You will enjoy a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with workdays including a period of personal time while students are at school. Responsibilities and Requirements
Career-focused houseparents at Milton Hershey School serve as caregivers for groups of 8-12 students, providing a family-like structure and guidance. The role requires married couples to manage daily responsibilities, including driving and administering medication, in a supportive educational environment. Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. To succeed in this role, you and your spouse should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
