Providing Family-Like Environment
As Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, you will work collaboratively with your spouse to provide a family-like environment for our students. You will be responsible for supervising, transporting, and caring for students, as well as handling administrative tasks such as budgeting and reporting.
Requirements
Candidates must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have a valid driver's license. They must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.

Couples can enjoy a salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple) which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. The schedule consists of nine days on followed by three days off, with workdays including a period of personal time while students are at school. A three-week paid summer vacation is also included.
