What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Support Coordinators position at Milton Hershey School?
We are seeking married couples to join our team as Family Support Coordinators. In this role, you and your spouse will serve as flex houseparents for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a Family Support Coordinator, you will provide a nurturing environment, oversee daily activities, and promote a family-like atmosphere in on-campus homes.
The ideal candidate couple should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older and have a high school diploma or GED. The couple must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
This is a two-person job that requires both spouses to work together as a team. You and your spouse will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. You will handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple) and comprehensive benefits. Our schedule consists of nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school.
