As Family Support Specialists, you will live on-campus with your spouse and guide a group of 8-12 students, managing various responsibilities including transportation, healthcare administration, and daily devotions.
Job Description
This is a unique career path that requires commitment from both spouses. You will be responsible for providing a consistent family-like structure for students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. When initially hired, you will cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
You will work a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with personal time while students are at school. Additionally, you will receive a three-week paid summer vacation.
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Couples must be married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
