Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to join its team as Family Support Specialists. In this role, you will provide a nurturing home environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings. Both spouses should be at least 27 years old, and they must have been legally married for at least two years.
As a Family Support Specialist, you will reside in an on-campus student home with your spouse and guide a group of approximately 8-12 students. You will handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
The compensation package includes a salary of $43,825 per person, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. You will also enjoy a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school.
You will work closely with the school's staff to ensure the well-being and education of the students. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are required. Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
