Milton Hershey School is a world-renowned private school that provides a career-focused education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are seeking married couples to join our team as flex houseparents, where they will reside on campus and provide guidance and support to groups of 8-12 students.
As a flex houseparent, you and your spouse will be responsible for creating a family-like environment for your students. This includes handling daily responsibilities such as transportation, medication administration, and budgeting. You will also have the opportunity to nurture your students' personal growth and development through daily devotions and Sunday chapel services.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including salary, relocation assistance, and paid training. Our flexible schedule allows for nine days on followed by three days off, with personal time while students are at school. You will also enjoy three weeks of paid summer vacation.
To be eligible for this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You and your spouse should have been legally married for at least two years, and both spouses should be at least 27 years old. You will also need to abide by our smoke-free and weapon-free campus policies, and limit any pets you may have.
