Family Support Specialists

Milton Hershey School is seeking a unique couple to provide a nurturing and family-like environment for 8-12 students in on-campus homes. As House Parents, you will guide students in their daily activities and personal development, working together as a team to ensure a stable and supportive atmosphere.

The ideal candidate couple has experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.

As a House Parent, you will be responsible for managing various responsibilities related to student care, including driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will also lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.

In return for your dedication and commitment, you will receive a competitive salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. You will also enjoy a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, as well as three-week paid summer vacation.
