Family Support Specialist
Milton Hershey School is a unique career path that offers the opportunity to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing a stable, family-like environment. As a Family Support Specialist, you will reside in on-campus homes and guide a group of 8-12 students. This role requires flexibility and adaptability, with a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off.
**Responsibilities:**
• Provide daily care and support for students
• Manage daily responsibilities, including health and safety
• Guide students in daily devotions and participate in Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
**Requirements:**
• Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older and have been legally married for at least two years
• Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
