As a Family Support Specialist, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of 8-12 students in a family-like environment, living on campus. This role requires a high degree of commitment from both spouses, who must work together to provide stability and structure for the students.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and they must have been legally married for at least two years. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
The position offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $43,825 per person, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance. Additionally, flex houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
As a couple, you will be responsible for managing daily activities and personal development for the students. You will also participate in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
