About the Role:
Milton Hershey School is a unique educational institution that provides an exceptional career-focused education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are currently hiring married couples to become flex houseparents, providing a consistent family-like structure for students and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
As a House Parent, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. You will live on-campus, manage a student home, and participate in daily devotions and Sunday chapel services. The ideal candidate is an experienced caregiver who is comfortable leading students and has a strong sense of integrity.
Our comprehensive benefits package includes a salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), relocation assistance, paid training, and a range of health insurance options. You will also have access to a fully-equipped student home, meals while on duty, and utilities.
We are looking for couples who are committed to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and who can demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models. No alcohol is permitted while on duty, and limitations apply to pets.
