About the Role
As a Flex Houseparent, you will reside on campus with your spouse and provide guidance and support to a group of approximately 8-12 students. Your role will involve creating a nurturing family-like environment, managing daily responsibilities, and implementing educational values through personal engagement.
Responsibilities
- Providing daily care and supervision to students
- Assisting students with homework and academic tasks
- Encouraging students to develop good habits and values
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- A minimum of two years of marriage
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
