What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guidance Counselors for Young Adults position at Milton Hershey School?
Couples will work together to provide guidance and support to students in a residential setting. This includes leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth and possess excellent communication skills. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
Candidates must be comfortable living on campus and handling household responsibilities. Relocation assistance and paid training will be provided to help couples adjust to their new roles.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
Benefits and Compensation
- Salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more)
