What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guidance Counselors for Youth position at Milton Hershey School?
We are seeking married couples to become part of our Couples Guidance and Support Team at Milton Hershey School. As full-time houseparents, you will reside in on-campus homes and provide a consistent family-like structure for students.
Responsibilities include driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and other duties related to the care and well-being of the students. Couples should have experience working or volunteering with youth and be comfortable engaging in daily interactions.
Candidates should have a valid driver's license and be able to become certified to drive student home vans. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application and demonstrate a high degree of integrity.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working or volunteering with youth preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license
