About the Role
The houseparent role at Milton Hershey School involves providing a supportive environment for students from underprivileged backgrounds. As a houseparent, you will live on-campus with your partner and guide a group of 8-12 students. You will be responsible for creating a stable family atmosphere, handling various tasks, and participating in student activities.
To be successful in this role, you and your partner must be committed to making a positive difference in the students' lives. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as a team. Experience working with children is highly desirable, but not necessary.
