What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guiding Lights for Disadvantaged Youth position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking a dedicated couple to become flex houseparents. As a flex houseparent, you will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of students, including meal planning and preparation, ensuring a safe and healthy living environment, and cultivating a positive and supportive home environment.
You will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with other staff members to ensure the success of our students. You will be expected to participate in regular meetings and training sessions to maintain your knowledge and skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with youth and a willingness to learn and grow with our organization. They will be part of a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. The couple should not have more than three dependent children residing in the student home.
Responsibilities and Requirements:- Provide nurturing support and guidance to groups of students in on-campus homes
- Responsible for daily care and well-being of students, including meal planning and preparation
- Ensure a safe and healthy living environment

- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
