Our Unique Opportunity for Married Couples

At Milton Hershey School, we offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity for married couples to join our team as flex houseparents. As a flex houseparent couple, you'll live on-campus with your family and provide support to a group of students aged 8-12. This role requires commitment from both spouses and offers comprehensive benefits alongside competitive compensation.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing guidance and support to students
• Fostering a family-like environment in the student home
• Driving students to various activities and events
• Assisting with household finances and budgeting
• Ensuring the health and well-being of our students

Qualifications:

• Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• Able to commit to the demands of this role and provide a stable environment for our students
• Both spouses should be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
• Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited)
