As a houseparent, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of our students. You will provide a stable and loving home environment, helping students to develop essential life skills and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide a nurturing home environment for 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds
- Act as caregivers and role models, ensuring students receive consistent support and guidance
- Manage household responsibilities, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure students receive the care and support they need
Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
