Responsibilities
As a Youth Development Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
- Providing guidance and support to students
- Overseeing daily activities, including homework help and study skills
- Administering medication and maintaining student health records
- Participating in student development activities, such as mentoring and counseling
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Limitations on pets
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- High school diploma or GED required
