What are the responsibilities and job description for the Houseparents - Family Caregivers Sought position at Milton Hershey School?
At Milton Hershey School, we are seeking married couples to join our team as flex houseparents. As a flex houseparent, you will reside in an on-campus student home with your spouse and provide a family-like structure for approximately 8-12 students.
Our ideal candidates have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
As a houseparent, you will handle responsibilities such as transportation, medication administration, and budgeting. You will also lead daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training.
Our schedule includes nine days on followed by three days off, with workdays including a period of personal time while students are at school. We also offer a three-week paid summer vacation.
