Milton Hershey School is a world-renowned private school that provides an exceptional education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our students receive comprehensive care, including housing, meals, and extracurricular activities – all at no cost to their families.
We are seeking married couples to become Flex Houseparents, providing guidance and support to a group of approximately 8-12 students. As Flex Houseparents, you will live in one of our on-campus student homes, creating a consistent and loving environment for your students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage student transportation, medication administration, and daily needs
- Create a supportive and structured environment for personal growth
- Lead daily devotions and take students to Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited)
- Lift up to 50 lbs and perform other physical tasks as needed
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of $43,825 per person ($150,000 total compensation package for couples)

Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Two years of marriage required; both spouses must be 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
