Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, providing a consistent family-like structure for students and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. Flex houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. You will also need to abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy and have limitations on pets. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and you must have experience working or volunteering with youth.
Benefits and Perks
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, with a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple. Our flex houseparents also receive relocation assistance, paid training, and a three-week paid summer vacation.
