What are the responsibilities and job description for the Married Couple Houseparents position at Milton Hershey School?
We're looking for Married Couple Houseparents to join our team at Milton Hershey School. In this role, you and your spouse will live on-campus with a group of approximately 8-12 students. You'll provide a supportive and family-like environment, guiding students through daily activities and helping them develop important life skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You'll need a valid driver's license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
As houseparents, you'll model positive behavior and demonstrate a high degree of integrity. You'll need to be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services.
