What are the responsibilities and job description for the Married Couple Houseparents position at Milton Hershey School?
We are seeking married couples to become Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. As a houseparent, you will guide and nurture a group of 8-12 students in a family-like environment.
Your responsibilities will include administering medication, budgeting, and leading daily devotions. Houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.

As a houseparent, you will have a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with workdays including personal time while students are at school. You will also receive a three-week paid summer vacation.
To be eligible for this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
