We are looking for married couples to join our team as flex houseparents at Milton Hershey School. In this role, you will provide a family-like environment for 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds while residing in on-campus homes.
As a flex houseparent, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing students, handling various tasks such as driving, administering medication, and budgeting. You will also lead daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience working with youth, be committed to your spouse and the students, and be willing to engage in community activities.
About the Role:
- Provide a family-like environment for students
- Reside in on-campus student homes
- Handle various tasks such as driving, administering medication, and budgeting
- Lead daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Legally married couple with at least two years of marriage
- Age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
