Job Description:
As a flex houseparent at Milton Hershey School, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of our students. You will live on-campus with your spouse and work together to create a supportive and nurturing environment for your assigned students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and school staff
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities
- Take initiative to address any issues or concerns that may arise in the student home
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
