Job Description
Milton Hershey School is seeking a married couple to serve as Houseparents. As Houseparents, you will provide a nurturing environment and support system for a small group of students within an on-campus home.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide daily care and support to students* Develop and implement activities that promote academic achievement, personal growth, and social development* Participate in daily devotions and take students to Sunday chapel services* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being of students* Maintain a safe and healthy living environment
**Requirements:**
* Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings* Married couples who have been legally married for at least two years* Both spouses should be age 27 or older* No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home* Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans* High school diploma or GED required* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.* Demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students* Both spouses must complete an individual employment application
