What are the responsibilities and job description for the Married Couples as Residential Mentors position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to fill the role of houseparent. As a houseparent, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting a group of 8-12 students, helping them to develop essential life skills and achieve their full potential.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They should be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Sunday chapel services. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
As a houseparent, you will live in one of our student homes with your partner and the students. You will work together as a team to create a warm and welcoming environment that supports the students' academic, emotional, and social development.
