Responsibilities
As flex houseparents, couples will reside in on-campus student homes and provide a consistent family-like structure for students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and more. Couples must also abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, have valid driver's licenses, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. This role requires experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings, and both spouses must be age 27 or older. Couples must also demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all staff are role models for students.
Qualifications
Couples must have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's licenses, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates must also demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all staff are role models for students. Couples should be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Additionally, couples must be willing to relocate to Hershey, PA, and have valid driver's licenses.
