Houseparents at Milton Hershey School provide a nurturing family-like environment for students in grades pre-K through 12. They manage daily living activities, ensure students receive educational support and emotional stability, and guide students in daily devotions and chapel services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily living activities for a small group of students
- Guide students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- Ensure students receive both educational support and emotional stability
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
