This unique position requires a married couple to work together as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and taking care of approximately 8-12 students. Responsibilities include driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and leading students in daily devotions. You will be part of a team that promotes educational and personal development for children from under-served settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide a supportive and structured home environment for students
- Drive and transport students safely
- Administer medication and manage household responsibilities
- Guide students through daily activities and lead them in daily devotions
- Take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Legally married couple with at least two years of marriage
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
