What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurturing Environment for Children position at Milton Hershey School?
We are seeking married couples to become Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, where you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of disadvantaged youth. As a Houseparent, you will provide a family-like structure for 8-12 students living in on-campus homes, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
Key requirements for this role include experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Couples must be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Valid driver's licenses and certification to drive student home vans are also required.
The compensation package includes a salary of $43,825 per person, a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training are also provided.
