Milton Hershey School is committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for our students. As a flex houseparent, you will play a critical role in creating a family-like atmosphere for students in grades pre-K through 12. You will live on-campus, managing student homes and handling various responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Providing guidance and support to students
- Managing student homes and handling responsibilities such as driving and medication administration
- Leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- Valid driver's licenses and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions. They must also be willing to abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy.
