About the Role
We are seeking a houseparent couple to join our team at Milton Hershey School. As a houseparent, you will provide a nurturing family-like environment for students, guiding them through daily responsibilities and leading them in daily devotions and Sunday chapel services.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to provide a stable and loving home environment for students. You will also be responsible for managing student homes, driving students to appointments, and administering medication as needed. In addition, you will lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, couples must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Couples must also abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus and limit their pets to fish and one dog of approved breeds.
