About the Job:
We are seeking a couple to join our team as Residential Youth Caregivers. As a Residential Youth Caregiver, you and your spouse will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of 8-12 students in a flex house setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing guidance and support to students in their daily lives
- Managing household responsibilities such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Encouraging students to develop good habits and a strong sense of self-discipline
- Reporting any issues or concerns to school administrators
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse must have the following qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students
