Milton Hershey School is dedicated to providing a supportive living environment for our students. We are seeking married couples to join our team as flex houseparents.
Role Description
As a flex houseparent, you will reside in an on-campus home with your spouse and provide a nurturing environment for our students. You will be responsible for handling daily tasks such as transportation, medication administration, and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities
Some key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- Managing student schedules and ensuring timely pick-ups and drop-offs
- Coordinating with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the household
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
