Nurturing Home Environment Coordinators are essential members of our team at Milton Hershey School. As a Nurturing Home Environment Coordinator, you and your spouse will create a warm and welcoming environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This role requires a strong commitment to providing individualized support and care to students, as well as experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings.
Responsibilities:
- Reside in an on-campus student home with your spouse and a group of approximately 8-12 students
- Provide daily care and support to students, including homework help and life skills training
- Manage student home budgets and finances
- Administer medication and provide basic first aid
- Drive student home vans and ensure student safety

Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Legally married couple with at least two years of marriage
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required
